Residing in Dallas, Texas, Sonja holds PharmD, MS (Hospital Pharmacy Administration), and BS (Pharmacy) degrees and graduating from the London School of Economics in July with an Executive Master of Science in Health Economics, Policy & Management from the London School of Economics.
During her 17 years in the pharma industry, Sonja has held both Field and Headquarter pharma Medical Affairs positions at BioXcel Therapeutics, Jazz, Intercept, and Genentech. She currently heads a Medical Managed Care field team and oversees HEOR for BioXcel Therapeutics.
Earlier in Sonja’s career she held diverse Management and Clinical positions focused on Oncology & Neurosciences. During her 15 years with MD Anderson Cancer Center & US Oncology in Houston she directed teams in Pharmacoeconomics, Inpatient/Outpatient Hospital Pharmacy, Pain Management Research, Drug Development & Clinical Information Systems.
