Brittainy Shinabery, M.H.A., CPhT, CMA (AAMA) is an Education and Development Specialist for the pharmacy technician certification exam at Shields Health Solutions. She has been a Certified Pharmacy Technician for over 15 years and a Certified Medical Assistant for about 11 years. Brittainy has also been an allied health instructor in higher education for about 9 years.
She holds a Bachelor of Health Services Administration and a Masters of Health Administration from Ohio University.
Her passion for education and development can be traced back to her pre-professional days as a retail pharmacy technician. Once she learned how impactful her job was to patients, she wondered what it would be like to share her pharmacy experience and knowledge gained in the industry with others who wanted to learn. Educating isn’t just about learning but getting people excited about the things she is passionate about. Pharmacy and healthcare are her passions and her past career opportunities have allowed her to share her knowledge and experience with others.
In October 2017, Brittainy was awarded the Outstanding Faculty Award from Ohio-Michigan Career College and Schools.
