Gary Cochran is an Associate Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UNMC, and a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. He also completed a pharmacy practice residency and pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research fellowship at UNMC.
Dr. Cochran’s research objective is to improve the safety and quality of healthcare through the advancement and dissemination of knowledge that will impact both clinical care and health policy. His current research evaluates the safety and effectiveness of medication use systems and health information technologies.
