Dr. Mary Ann (Annie) Painter is a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at WVU Hospitals in Morgantown, WV. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Allegheny Health Network's West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA after graduating from the University of Findlay in Findlay, OH with her PharmD. She has completed and presented multiple research projects at ASHP in ambulatory care. Her previous projects have included pharmacist optimization of statin therapy for primary prevention and pneumococcal immunizations as well as pharmacist satisfaction in their career. She also presented at the 2022 Vizient Pharmacy Network Meeting on adherence to first line diabetes medications in an endocrine clinic. She has a strong interest in chronic disease state management and preventative medicine. She serves as an interview coordinator for her residency class and is an active member of the ambulatory council at WVU Medicine.
