Emily Yenser, BS Pharm, is a PharmD candidate of 2023 at Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. While at Wilkes, she served as her ASHP student chapter’s Community Outreach Chair, where she advocated for volunteerism as well as planned and executed community service and philanthropy activities for the chapter. Emily was also involved in other pharmacy organizations on Wilkes’s campus. She was LKS Alpha Phi Chapter’s Social Media Chair, ACCP President, and APhA YMCA Tutoring Program Coordinator. She is a co-author of the Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy publication “Patient Perceptions of a Student-Led Remote Hypertension Education Program”. Emily has also held positions at the national level, including being a member of ASHP’s Pharmacy Student Forum Student Society Development Advisory Group, Lamba Kappa Sigma’s Women’s Health Issues Committee, and Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association’s Diversity and Disparities Committee. Currently, Emily is a member of ASHP’s National Executive Committee, ACCP’s Member Relations Committee, American College of Veterinary Pharmacy’s (ACVP) Student Pharmacist Board Member, and APhA’s Editorial Advisory Board Student Member.
