PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Resident

Taylor Harris, Pharm.D., C.Ph. is one of the current PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residents at Baptist Health South Florida in Miami. She previously graduated pharmacy school from Larkin University College of Pharmacy in Miami, FL, and then went on to complete her PGY-1 training at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Harris has participated in research to compare collaborative practice agreement laws across the United States. She also created a survey to evaluate community pharmacist stress levels with her PGY-1 research project. She has a passion for advocating for the profession and connecting with her patients to help them achieve better health outcomes. She currently serves as the President of the Dade County Pharmacists Association as of 2023. Her current areas of interest include diabetes management and heart failure management. Dr. Harris is to complete her PGY-2 residency training in June 2023 and hopes to continue working in clinic under a collaborative practice agreement to better serve her patients.
