Mark Huffmyer is a board-certified ambulatory care, geriatric, anticoagulation, and multiple sclerosis pharmacist. He currently serves as the pharmacist manager for the Neurology and Psychiatry/Substance-Use-Disorder teams at the University of Kentucky Healthcare Specialty Pharmacy and Infusion Services. He is an adjunct assistant professor at the UK College of pharmacy (COP). He graduated from the UKCOP in May 2014 and completed a residency at UK COP/Wheeler’s Pharmacy/American Pharmacy Service Corporation Community Pharmacy Residency in 2015. He is passionate about teaching and have been taking a variety of learners including pharmacy students, residents, and international students. He conducts research through Sanders-Brown Center of Aging in geriatrics, polypharmacy, and deprescribing.
