Marie Louis-Jeune, PharmD, BCPS, CPh, LSSGB obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University in 2009 and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South University School of Pharmacy in 2012. She attained a PGY-1 in Pharmacy Practice at Memorial Regional Hospital. Marie then went on to complete a PGY-2 residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration. During this time, she completed the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Academy. Post residency, Marie transitioned into the Pharmacy Sterile Compounding Supervisor role at Memorial Cancer Institute of the Memorial Healthcare System in 2016. Her role evolved into the Pharmacy Operations Manager in 2017 and during this time she completed the ASHP Medication Safety Certificate. She is currently, since 2018, the MCI Pharmacy Safety and Quality Coordinator. Marie completed the ASCO Quality Training Program in 2020 and obtained her Lean Six Sigma Green belt certification in 2021. She is exploring all things quality and process improvement. She leads the OMH Chemotherapy Safety workstream successfully obtaining QOPI recertification in 2021. In addition, inaugurated and chairs the MCI Medication Safety Committee. Marie is a member of FSHP, FLASCO and HOPA. She upholds an active Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy since 2015.
